Mended Hearts chapter to host meeting on nutrition and food labels

EAST WENATCHEE — The Greater Wenatchee Mended Hearts chapter will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, May 5, focusing on nutrition and food label interpretation for heart patients and their caregivers.

The meeting is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Aging & Adult Care Meeting Room, located at 270 9th St NE in East Wenatchee. Participants from Chelan, Douglas, Okanogan and Grant Counties can attend either in-person or via Zoom.

The main program will address nutrition and reading food labels, providing practical guidance for heart patients and their families.
