Folkloric dance series

The Peshastin Library will host a Mexican folkloric dance class series with local teacher Sandy Zárate at the Peshastin Dryden Elementary starting Tuesday, June 25.

“Participants will learn the fundamentals of folkloric dance and explore dances from different regions of Mexico,” the event page states. 

The course is geared towards youth ages 8-12 and will be taught in English and Spanish. Pre-registration is required.

The class is on Tuesdays from 5-6 p.m. and on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
