Tierra Learning Center to host Leavenworth Wine Classic

LEAVENWORTH — Tierra Learning Center announced plans to host the inaugural Leavenworth Wine Classic on July 13. The event aims to celebrate and support the center's mission of empowering individuals with developmental disabilities through housing, employment services, and recreational programs.

The gala dinner and auction, set to begin at 5:00 p.m., will take place at the Tierra Learning Center in Sunitsch Canyon. Renowned local chef Lucas Szmania will prepare the culinary offerings, complemented by a selection of wines from eight prominent Washington wineries.

Featured wineries include Boudreaux Cellars, Dusted Valley, Icicle Ridge, WT Vintners, Eagle Creek, Tsillian Cellars, DavenLore Winery, and Watermill Winery. The event promises attendees an opportunity to socialize with culinary and wine enthusiasts in a unique setting.

Tierra Learning Center provides integrated community living and support services for people with developmental disabilities. The organization focuses on three main areas: group home housing, employment services, and educational, vocational, and recreational activities.
