Chelan County mails ballots for August 6 primary election

WENATCHEE — Ballots for the August 6 primary election have been mailed to registered voters in Chelan County, Auditor Skip Moore announced Thursday.

To be counted, completed ballots must be either postmarked by 8:00 p.m. on August 6 or deposited into an official ballot drop box by the same deadline. More information on voting in the primary special election can be found on the county elections website at www.elections.chelancountywa.gov.

Voters who have not received their ballot in the mail by July 24 should contact the Chelan County elections office at 509-667-6808 to request a replacement.

The primary will determine which candidates will advance to the November general election.
