Roger Joel Voss

Roger passed away peacefully April 20,2026 after a battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born the youngest of 5 in Lisbon, ND July 12, 1946 to Ernest and Evelyn Voss,moving to the Voss dairy in Dryden as a child. Roger graduated from Peshastin-Dryden in 1966 where he was considered a great football player. He later enlisted in the Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam. Roger then worked at the Peshastin Mill for 17 years. He met and married Sharon Hendrickson in 1973 and spent forty happy years together.Roger loved hunting and camping in the woods around Leavenworth before the travel bug hit. He spent many years traveling and taking cruises. Roger was known for his corny jokes and one liners. He was proceeded in death by his parents, wife, and siblings: Alvin, Don, and Arlene. He is survived by sister Carol, and his children: Gerald, Bonnie, Pamela, Paul, Duane, Joe, Roberta and Dawn.
