“All skill levels are welcome,” said Christie Wilder, Executive Director of Plain Valley Ski Trails, “whether it’s your first time racing or you’ve discovered a love for racing. The focus of this race series is introducing racing in a welcoming, fun environment and connecting with ski communities across the state.”
“The venue in Plain is very special because spectators can watch the skiers race the entire distance thanks to the valley’s beautiful wide open terrain.” says Jeff Layton, Head Devo Coach of Plain Valley Nordic Team. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids to try nordic ski racing in a supportive setting.”
There is no cost to enter the Washington Nordic Cup following the mission of Plain Valley Ski Trails’ to continue to remove barriers for children being able to participate in cross country skiing!
