Cashmere Community Concerts: Kevin Pace & The Early Edition return
Join Cashmere Community Concerts, featuring Kevin Pace & the Early Edition, Saturday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m. This traditional bluegrass/gospel group is dedicated to entertaining audiences with the sounds of classic bluegrass. Their "down pat" style and tight, smooth, top notch harmonies capture the classic, traditional sounds and will transport them directly to our stage. Kevin Pace & the Early Edition have enjoyed three successful years of traveling around the northwest festival circuit and opening for such acts as Chris Jones & the Night Drivers, the Boxcars, two-time IBMA entertainers of the year, the Gibson Brothers and Junior Sisk.

Kevin Pace on mandolin/guitar/vocals was raised in Georgia and grew up in a family of talented musicians and singers. After moving to the Northwest, he formed his own group. Kevin has an "old school" approach when it comes to performing and prefers the use of one mic and dressing up for stage. Kevin's mandolin playing is heavily influenced by Bill Monroe and he has a strong, smooth tenor voice. He is developing a reputation as a fine singer and songwriter.

Christopher Arndt on banjo/guitar lives in Post Falls, Idaho and plays Scruggs style but also is talented with the chromatic style of banjo pickin'. Christopher was member of the Tony Trischka School of Banjo, a division of the Artistworks Academy of Bluegrass Music.
