| Kodiak golfers compete at State |
Cascade senior Courtnee Cook and freshman Tyler Bain competed in the State 1A tournament on May 21 at the Lake Spanaway Golf Club. Head Coach Randy Alexander said his golfers practiced the day before on the tough and long (6,100 yards) course.

| Cascade track team finishes the season at State meet in Cheney |
Cascade qualified four athletes for the State 1A track meet in Cheney last Friday and Saturday. The boys team finished with only five points, good enough to tied for 32nd place. The girls scored one point, and tied for 47th place.

After finishing third in the District Tournament, the Cascade doubles duo of Katie Whitten and Hailey Hassinger made a remarkable run at the rain interrupted State 1A tennis tournament in Yakima this past weekend, earning second place in girls' doubles.

| Parton, Merritt, Cummings and Lee qualify for State Track |
A quartet of Kodiaks have qualified for the State 1A Track meet this weekend in Cheney. Freshman Maddy Parton qualified in the 100, 200 sprints and 300 hurdles. Sophomore Dennis Merritt qualified in the 100 and 200. Senior Mara Cummings made it in the 400 and 800. Junior Tyler Lee qualified in the 110 and 300 hurdles.

| Baseball team to State semifinals |
Going into the State 1A Baseball Tournament last weekend, the Cascade Kodiaks were the number three team in the region. To get to the State semi-finals, this Kodiak team would have to do something no other Cascade team has accomplished, beat the number one and two seeds in a region.

| Golfers set for District Tournament |
Cascade played a home match against Okanogan on a very windy day, April 29. The Bulldogs only had two boys and two girls, so it was not an official match. Cascade Head Coach Randy Alexander said it was probably a good thing, because all the golfers struggled in the wind.
