Donna Ilene Oliver
Donna Ilene Oliver was born June 12, 1928 in Everett, Washington to Riley and Gladys Oliver. Graduating from West Seattle High where she was a cheerleader and school paper editor, Donna attended Whitman College, pledging to the Phi Beta Cappa Sorority, marrying Joe Jackson and earning her BA in Sociology. After moving to California, Donna spent her career first working for Hiller Helicopter, then as a wonderful stay-at-home mom to daughters Lesli and Terry, and then working for Cupertino Unified School District. She passed on her creativity and love of domestic arts, including canning, sewing and crafting.

Alfred Edward 'Bud' 'Ace' Leupold
Alfred Edward "Bud" "Ace" Leupold, 83, passed away on July 27, 2016 in Wenatchee, Washington. Born Sept. 4, 1932 in Bracken, Saskatchewan, Canada, moved to Vancouver, B.C. and then to Seattle in his early teens. Bud graduated from Lincoln High School, attended Seattle University, was in the U.S. Navy, a retired Seattle firefighter and business owner. Bud loved the outdoors and playing cards. He is survived by his children Kathy (Gary Hansen), Jerry (Vicki), Janene (Mark Mullen) and Kim (Dwayne Deiner), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and his sister Betty Kuhn. There will be a Celebration of Life Sept. 17, 2016 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Bothell, WA from 2 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Washington Council of Firefighters,, PO Box 6383, Kent, WA 98064.

George "Bud" Kapral
George "Bud" Kapral passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016.
Bud was born on April 15, 1926 in Ronald, Washington to George and Garnet (Darby) Kapral. He spent his childhood in Roslyn, Washington where his father was a coal miner. He attended school in Roslyn and Cle Elum, graduating in 1944, where he made and kept lifelong friendships. He was inducted into the U.S. Navy three days after his high school graduation and served his country for two years.

Robert 'Bobby' Craig Duncan
He was born July 11, 1956 in Moscow, Idaho to Robert and Jody Duncan. He graduated high school in Fayetteville, North Carolina in 1975. He enjoyed moving around frequently in his early life as part of his father's military career, spending several years in both Panama and Indonesia. He served in the National Guard for six years, and was very proud of his military heritage. After returning to Leavenworth, Washington, he began working with his father as a general contractor in the Upper Valley at Duncan Construction. He took great pride in his work, with one of his most notable accomplishments being the completion of the Stehekin School in 1988.

David Keith Lawson
David Keith Lawson, 78, born in Dixon, Illinois and retired Seattle Fire Fighter, died July 7, 2016. Son of Charles and Hazel Lawson, loving father of three, Dave passed away after a long struggle with his health. He is survived by his daughter, Laura Pelletier (Rick Pelletier), daughter, Leslie Lawson and son David Lawson (Cindy Lawson), brothers Charles Lawson (Cora), James Lawson (Bonnie), and sisters, Patricia Warner (Don), and Joy Pankhurst (Courtney), his gandchildren Monica, Stachia and David Paul and two great grandchildren, Wyatt and Addison.
