To most she was simply "Oma," a woman who found solace in God, family, friends, and playing dolls with her Schatzie and her Mukuschula. Outside of these, she enjoyed nothing more than endless conversations with friends, traveling back to Drackenstein every year, and dressing up for special occasions. Her quick-wit, stubborn determination, and cure-all concoctions will be sorely missed. Few knew how to prepare a meal, plant a flower, or care for a child, as she did. She was born in tne town of Bissingen Teck, Germany and married Gary Oberg in the Ave Maria Kloster (Monastery) in the town of Dettingen which is in southern Germany.
Oma always said we could look for her dancing on the clouds, finally cancer-free and fancy-footed. We'll miss you Oma!
