Don't allow yourself to be distracted
This is undoubtedly the most difficult but most significant Presidential election in the last 30 years. It is not easy because Americans are deeply divided and often driven to make this decision based on questionable gut wrenching emotional issues that have little to do with the real issues facing our country.
Let's face it. We are all flawed human beings. We have all said things and done things that are disgraceful. But what we said and what did 20 or 30 years ago is not necessarily a true reflection of who we are today.

Addressing the insanity of Washington politics
astern Washingtonians have often called for splitting the state in two in order to be free of the insane politics of the wet side. In fact, many east siders no longer vote because they believe their votes will simply be drowned out by the Puget Sound socialists. But failing to participate will not change the insanity that is growing in Washington state politics, and without a resounding vote from eastern side conservatives, wet side conservatives have no chance of influencing wet side politics.

Another liberal program fails to fulfill its promise
If you have been paying attention you might have heard last week that Aetna, Inc., one of the nations largest health insurance providers, will be following United Health and Humana in dropping its participation in Obamacare. It seems they are all losing too much money on the program so they are pulling out.
Those remaining in the program are predicting rates will be increasing 18 percent to 24 percent next year.

A normal slowdown could lead to an abnormal recession
For the first time in years, I'm beginning to feel a little skittish about the markets and economy. It's an odd feeling. Not only because the markets are at all-time highs, but also because the last eight years are littered with embarrassed financial "experts" who predicted imminent doom. Of course, I'm not going to be nearly that dramatic about it, so I'll put it like this: I don't see much that can push us forward -- but I see lots of things that could push us back.

Conservative pundits abandon America
Imagine our founding fathers sitting around and debating the Declaration of Independence. Questions like, what do you mean by "all men are created equal"; or, "they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.." arose.
I am sure there were many who protested and said they were not pledging their lives, fortunes or sacred honor unless their specific grievances were addressed. But ultimately they came together and the miracle of the United States was born.
Fast forward 240 years and uncomfortable with primary voters choice of Donald Trump many self professed conservatives have declared they cannot support Trump. They are advising voters choose another candidate or don't vote.
