1/23/2013 1:55:00 PM Vote yes on Cascade School levy
On Jan. 25, Cascade School District voters will receive ballots for a Maintenance and Operations Levy Election that is Feb. 12. A successful M&O Levy passage will ensure the continuation of student programs that are not covered by state funding. The levy covers nearly 20% of the district's budget including transportation, class size reduction, extra-curricular and more!
The Cascade School Board of Directors is asking us to pay $1.48 per $1,000 assessed valuation for four years. This amount is the lowest of any school district in our area. Running it for four years would provide budget planning stability and save on election costs.
We ask you to continue to support the students of the Cascade School District by voting "Yes" on Feb. 12. If you have any questions regarding how levy dollars will be spent, we encourage you to contact members of this committee, the Superintendent and/or School Board Members.
