The purpose of this letter is to express my appreciation for the outstanding care received from the E.R. people at the Leavenworth Hospital.
My wife and I drive up to Leavenworth at least several times a year for a relaxing getaway, as we have a Time Share at the Blackbird Inn. In doing so last Sunday for a couple of days, I made the error of leaving one bag at home, which contained some of my wifes' clothing, and my many medicines, as a heart patient, I have many. Monday night I was awakened by some rather strong atrial fibrillation. Knowing what that can lead to I walked across the street to the ER of your Hospital. A very gracious Receptionist got me to the proper people who determined my situation and immediately began treatment. Several procedures were accomplished. The attending Physicians were Drs. Criminale and Lucca, Both displayed patience and compassion.
You folks living in the area served by this fine Hospital are truly fortunate.
