Remembering Oktoberfest
Dear Editor,

A friend and I both worked at Oktoberfest this past month, and in celebration of receiving our paychecks for it we have both composed limericks about the entire event. I hope you like them, and perhaps have room for them somewhere in the paper!

by Jessie Swider

There once was a fest in Oktober

The tourists they came from all over

We sang Sweet Caroline

Eight times maybe nine

And poured beer till no one was sober

by Skyler J. Cuthill

Out of steins with strange German labels

Tourists drink till they're no longer able

But the drunkest of all

If you asked me this fall

My mop, drank 'em under the table

Skyler Cuthill
