It was graduation night for the Cascade High School Class of 2013 last Saturday night at the football field in Peshastin. Under mostly clear skies, families, teachers, students and others packed the stands to watch the Class of 2013 receive their diplomas. Neal Champagne and Ashley Ells were the Valedictorians and Magnus Schlyer was the Salutatorian.

| With much in the way of legislative uncertainty regarding the regulation of online schools, the Cascade School District is backing away from plans to move ahead next year with Columbia Virtual Academy.
